3 basic selection criteriaThe cutting surface: 1000 to 7000 μ².
The launch system: oblique, rear launch, with mulching option.
Engine power: the choice is based on the size of the cutting surface.
Power depending on the cutting surface
1000 à 2000 μ²: Choose a tractor 10 to 12 CV, with a cutting width of 60 to 70 cm. For more comfort, you can choose a tractor with electric start.
2000 à 3000 μ²: Choose a tractor with a minimum power of 12.5 CV, with a cutting width of 70 à 90 cm. In this range, the electric start is integrated.
3000 à 6000 μ²: Choose a 15 CV tractor with a cutting width of one meter.
Over 6000 μ²: The characteristics of the range are the same as the previous one, but the engines have 18 to 20 CV power. With some simple moves you ensure the proper operation and life of the lawn mower: Check the oil level of the lawn before each haircut.
Shooting system Side launch system: The side launch system scatters the cut grass more correctly but produces obstacles along the length especially if the maneuvers are in difficult access points.
Rear launch (with reflection bucket): This system allows continuous cutting of the lawn in a clean way. Special collection bins of various sizes are available.
Maintenance Clean the spark plug and drain the oil from the machine every 25 hours of use. After use, clean the crankcase with water. At the end of the season, peel off all the lawn debris from the machine, sharpen the blades and store away from moisture and cold.
